About Dutchy's Quality Restoration

Dutchy's Quality Restoration was started in 2014 by Charles Coté in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. What began as one guy and a truck has grown into a full general contracting business with a steady crew, a shop on Dill Lane, and projects all over Westmoreland County.

The name comes from Charles's family nickname. The "Quality Restoration" part is what we do every day. We take something that needs work, whether it's a tired kitchen or a leaking roof or a basement nobody uses, and we make it better than it was.

How we work

Keep it simple. You call or send us a message. We get back within 48 hours, usually faster. We come look at the job, talk through what you want, and give you a real estimate with real numbers. No surprises.

While the work is happening, you'll see the same faces on your property. Our crew is steady. Charles is on site or on the phone every day a job is running. If something comes up that wasn't in the original scope, we tell you before we do it, not after.

When we leave, we clean up. Sounds basic. You'd be surprised how often customers tell us we're the first contractor who actually swept up.

The owner

Charles Coté founded Dutchy's in 2014 after years of construction work in the Latrobe area. He still runs the day-to-day operations and is on most job sites at some point during the week. When you hire Dutchy's, you're hiring Charles and the people he trained.

Community

We were named a Latrobe Bulletin Community Choice Champion in 2024. We sponsor local events when we can, we hire locally, and we believe a contractor's job is to leave the neighborhood a little better than they found it.
